Responsibilities:

• I will be looking for someone who can build, deploy, configure, and maintain both on-premises and cloud-based cybersecurity infrastructure and applications operating on Windows and Linux systems. The role requires engineering and implementing cybersecurity solutions using cloud services such as EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and RDS, as well as provisioning AMIs and performing software installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• The successful candidate will assist with research and the implementation of enterprise-wide cybersecurity solutions and enhancements to support our customer’s business and mission goals. Additionally, the position involves evaluating and recommending changes or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization, and industry best practices.
• I expect the candidate to provide specific information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools that best meet business needs, considering both current and future capacity requirements. Representing our customer requirements during technical exchanges with other government agencies will also be part of your duties.
• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining architecture diagrams and a roadmap for capabilities, operations, and technologies. Your role will include assisting with developing and executing test plans and supporting documentation for all network configuration upgrades prior to customer implementation approval. You may also serve as a team lead, coordinating with stakeholders and external assessors to facilitate security assessments and the authorization process.

The likely salary range for this position is between $121,680 and $149,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation, as salary will be determined by experience, geographic location, and any contractual obligations, and it could potentially fall outside this range.

This position is expected to have a weekly schedule of 40 hours, and travel is not required. The work option for this role is onsite, located in Springfield, VA.
