Join Our Team as a Mechanical Technician
Location: United States (Travel Required: up to 35%)
BHS Robotics, a leader in automated manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our installation team. In this role, you will play a key part in implementing machinery retrofits for our clients' corrugated machines. You will train under experienced senior technicians and collaborate with programmers and project managers to ensure seamless installations.
Install mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components for machine retrofits.
Assemble and fabricate parts for corrugated machinery upgrades.
Travel to customer sites across the U.S. for system installations and start-ups.
Install electrical boxes, conduit, motors, drives, and other automation components.
Work closely with internal teams to meet project deadlines.
Prepare hardware kits for upcoming installations.
Provide excellent customer service while on-site.
Complete expense and field service reports promptly.
Ability to read mechanical designs and electrical schematics.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD viewer software.
Understanding of safety protocols and machine shop practices.
Good driving record (ability to rent a car).
Ability to travel up to 35% of the time within the U.S.
Welding and machining skills are a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using tools.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Dedicated work ethic and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for 10–12 hours per day during installations.
Regular bending, walking, and climbing ladders.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Manual dexterity for handling small components.
