Objective : The Real Estate Analyst is an established performer who supports the evaluation, planning, and execution of real estate strategies through financial modeling, market research, and portfolio analysis. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders to provide data-driven insights that inform real estate decisions, optimize asset performance, and support corporate growth objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Analyzes real estate opportunities through financial modeling, lease comparisons, and investment return analyses.
  • Conducts market research on property values, leasing trends, demographics, and competitive activity.
  • Assists in the preparation of business cases, site selection packages, and capital request presentations.
  • Tracks and evaluates the performance of existing real estate assets across key financial and operational metrics.
  • Supports lease negotiations by preparing occupancy cost analysis and benchmarking reports.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including legal, construction, and finance to support real estate transactions.
  • Maintains real estate databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Monitors timelines and key milestones for acquisitions, dispositions, and lease events.
  • Prepares real estate portfolio summaries and executive-level reporting for leadership review.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities related to real estate data management and decision-making.
  • Works on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
  • Performs accurate analyses, conducts research, and draws meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
  • Draws from prior experience, interprets facts, and identifies incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.
  • Uses innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.
  • Effectively applies functional, process, and procedural or technical imagination to address business challenges.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.
  • Influences others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.
  • Performs other duties as needed.  

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

Competencies:

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
