The Recruiting Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and recruiting support to the branch team, with special projects for HQ. We hire and place Home Care Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses in home care, long term care, hospice, group homes and the like. This position is highly focused on maintaining compliance with local, federal and state regulations as they relate to healthcare staffing. The job description is as follows:
· Title – Recruiting Assistant
· Hours – Generally 8a to 5p, Monday through Friday
· Reports To – President
· Time Allocation –The Recruiter Assistant will be 80% of more administrative, 20% sales support.
Responsibilities:
Administrative:
· General administrative work; such as the telephones, mail, typing, data entry, filing, etc.
· Application processing, complete candidate files via vetting and credentialing processes, e-verify, background checks, reference checks, candidate testing and other on-boarding duties.
· Office calendars, scheduling candidate appointments, follow up on with candidates and clients for the hiring status, paperwork, start dates, etc.
· Social Network – keep socials up to date. Provide information for updates to the web site, etc.
Recruiting:
· Assist with sourcing of qualified candidates.
· Begin the process of placement via interviews, customer discussions, filling orders, etc.
· Advertising, maintenance of boards, open positions, candidate status and follow up dates.
Scheduling:
Payroll:
· Responsible for the branch payroll data entry and reconciling timesheets to the schedules
· Employment verifications and confirmations.
· Work with HQ as needed on unemployment and worker’s compensation claims.
