Working Conditions

This position is classified as hybrid and eligible for telework in accordance with the CCC’s Telework Policy and the Governor’s July 1 Return to Office Mandate. Incumbent will be required to report to the office at least four (4) days a week and/or as needed/required.

The reporting location for this positi on is at CCC HQ located at 1719 24th Street, Sacramento, CA 95816.

This position staffs the California Natural Resources Agency Career Center located at 715 P Street, Sacramento 95814, a minimum of twice a month. Travel is required for this position on an as-needed basis.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in advertising, social media marketing, or a related industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging advertising platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor) and social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for recruitment purposes    
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and industry trends, particularly in digital marketing and technology sectors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates and internal stakeh olders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment                            
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software is a plus
  • ECOS and Visio experience
