Job Title: SQL Developer
Location: [US - Remote]
Citizenship: Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.
Create and maintain ETL processes using SQL and data integration tools.
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.
Work with application developers to design and maintain data models.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across environments.
Participate in database design reviews and provide recommendations.
Document database design, code, and processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in SQL development.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization.
Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
