What You’ll Be Doing:
  • As our Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll be the heart of our volunteer program—recruiting, training, and supporting amazing people who want to give back. You’ll collaborate with passionate staff, community partners, and volunteers to create meaningful experiences that support individuals and families facing poverty, homelessness, abuse, or disability.
  • Partner with local organizations, attend community events, and use social media to spread the word when we need new volunteers.
  • Make sure new volunteers complete the application process before starting.
  • Ensure all volunteers understand the policies, timekeeping system, and feel welcome.
  • Inspire volunteers by sharing the impact of their work.  
  • Match volunteers with the right opportunities and schedules.
  • Celebrate our volunteers and keep them coming back with fun events and thoughtful engagement.
  • Work hand-in-hand with program leaders to ensure volunteers are making a real impact.
  • Help organize appreciation events, service days, and our annual gala!

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
  • A college degree
  • Experience with volunteer coordination or database management.
  • Strong print and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and a heart for service.
