Warehouse Manager {AL, Dothan}AL, Dothan Warehouse Manager - Full-Time Opening The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and wellbeing of all warehouse related assets and personnel. Related assets include all product SKUs, management technology, warehouse buildings, coolers, freezers, pallet jacks, dumpsters, compactors, and other equipment necessary for the movement, management and disposal of warehouse items. Personnel includes all other warehouse management and pickers including full, part and temporary employees. The Manager is the primary contact between Five Star and suppliers and must also interact effectively with all route personnel and senior management. Strong customer interaction skills required. Supervises and coordinates activities of warehouse personnel; assures the highest standard of customer service by performing the following duties. + Location: 116 Vulcan Way, Dothan, AL 36303 Learn more about our company and culture: What You'll Do as a Warehouse Manager: + Manages all warehouse purchases and maintains appropriate inventory levels to support the needs of each LOB serviced. Actively pursues all inventory related goals as outlined in the Warehouse Operations Standard Operation Procedure (SOP). + Achieves financial objectives by analyzing variances in a timely manner; initiating corrective actions; scheduling/monitoring expenditures; controlling labor costs. + Maintains warehouse in a safe and clean manner as outlined in the Warehouse Audit SOP; ensures that the warehouse is always in a state to pass any internal and/or external inspection/audit. + Controls employee scheduling so that employees are allowed their requested days off, and the operation has enough labor each day for service obligations; when necessary, performs activities of workers supervised. + Maintains physical condition of all warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, handhelds, computers, racking, carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. You'll Be a Great Fit if You're: + Excited and eager to learn new process and techniques + Driven and customer services oriented + Reliable with regular attendance + Positive & professional + Comfortable multi-tasking and adapt easily to change + Someone who likes to have fun at work and work with a team General Requirements: + Must be able to lift 50lbs+; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis. + Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check. + Must be able to consent to a drug screen. + Ability to follow workplace safety policies and guidelines.
